Ohashi Shiatsu

I'd been seeing Ruth, a bodyworker who does Shiatsu acupressure on the recommendation of Rich, my spiritual therapist.  I was in the midst of a tumultuous marriage, full of crises.  Ruth kept me centered on our regular visits. 

On her suggestion I took a six day class with Ohashi to study Shiatsu.  I brought kneepads at a hardware store to ease the challenge of doing the work on the floor.  Ruth worked on a table, which made so much more sense to me. 

After six days of working for AT&T before I went to class, I graduated from my first class of Shiatsu, never to even try the technique on my friends.  It was not for me.
